Diy Mft Table - I made an swiveling elbow from a 2” pvc elbow and a piece of 2” pvc pipe. I no longer use this as a bench, but i liked the simplicity and sturdiness so much that i cut the longitudinals down, mounted lockable casters and it now serves as my router table. It's heavy enough, but the space ain't there. Looking into making this instead of paying festool pricing. There are now lots of metric clones and also kreg which uses 3/4 holes on a 4 grid. So i do most of my hand work on my assembly table. Mft is multi function table.

I looked online and the woodcraft site had it listed to fit on the festool mft (multi Adding the festool mft style table top would not be a problem, and building a cabinet base for storage is a given. I like that it’s height capabilities are endless, it seems that even though all of my tools, tables and cabinets are “supposedly” the same height i always have to make some height adjustments for an outfeed table to match up! My old shop is slowly reverting back to a wood working only shop. Mft is multi function table.
The table assembly folds so close to the saw that a standard pvc elbow was too long. It's heavy enough, but the space ain't there. However, if you're looking for a more permanent table, and you've got the inclination to make all those components, this mft is certainly interesting. When combined with their track saw, that system can rival a good table saw in many ways.
The New Shop Is Basically A Dedicated Machine Shop.
I like that it’s height capabilities are endless, it seems that even though all of my tools, tables and cabinets are “supposedly” the same height i always have to make some height adjustments for an outfeed table to match up! It's heavy (espically with the 6x10 legs i use to make the base) and very ridgid. Looking for any information from our members that have done this. Problem is it has to double as an outfeed table and therefore is much.

It Would Be Way Worse If The Mft Were Standing On It's Own Legs.
They also had a coping sled. I love cutting sheets on a table saw, but that simply takes a nice heavy saw and surrounding tables and ample shop space. I made an swiveling elbow from a 2” pvc elbow and a piece of 2” pvc pipe. This table required an additional change in that when the table was folded down, there was not enough room to connect the shop vac hose to the dust collection port.

I am impressed by their straight edge and triangle marking and measuring stuff and thought the table and fence kits looked downright impressive.
