Diy Frisbee Golf Basket - After researching a bit i'm liking the disc nation liberty basket. I would just buy one and take instant gratification over pride of building. Was thumbing through youtube.com vids on disc golf driving and stumbled across this. A friend and i built some baskets. Even using reclaimed and repurposed materials, my frankenbasket is going to be upwards of $80 by the time i'm done. If anyone is interested, i could post some diy instructions. Yes costco has a disc golf basket its all metal in a day glow yellow/green color.
We built 6 and set up a course on his property. I have had a chance to get it and set it up and use it for a few weeks now and it is a good basket for the money. But any tips or tricks would be great I've made a couple for local courses' practice basket.
The bolt threads were all stripped out where the two poles screw together to sandwich the basket/tray. It is not in the basket even it is on the basket. Today i welded the ring back in, and welded the top and bottom to the basket/tray making them one piece. I have had a chance to get it and set it up and use it for a few weeks now and it is a good basket for the money. The top of the basket is not the intended finishing position.

Unless you are looking for perfection in a basket building something cheap can be done if you use your noodle. They are built to pdga dimensions and the beaver sticks catch discs just fine. But any tips or tricks would be great It's not in the basket until it's in the basket.
